The point of creating a company is to make profits, and in order to make profits you need to acquire customers.
Before anyone can be acquired as a customer to any business they need to find the services/products offered to be valuable enough for them to be attracted.
In other words, the brand you are serving to potential clients needs to be attractive in every aspect of the word and not only that, the services provided needs to solve specific problems either finally in a one off situation or recursively which turns all your clients to potential repeat customers(more moolah for you).
How then can you make your business attractive enough for new customers. Follow these two tips to see how you can achieve that.
Create a buyer persona
Who are you selling to? You need to ask yourself this question over and over again.
Having a target audience is not enough in most cases, you could target health practitioners as your potential customers with a killer product and end up not making any sales. At the end of the day, it might turn out that your actual customers are "health practitioners who don't have a direct access to a needed resource".
Target audiences are a sequel to buyer personas, you need a target audience before you can create a buyer persona but a target audience is distinct from a buyer persona.
A simple tip for creating buyer personas, create a list of problems that will be solved by your product/service. From those problems listed start coming up with characteristsc that might be found in people/organizations who might have that particular problem.
After doing these two things it will be easy for you to have an idea of who you need to approach in order to acquire clients and make sales.
Make your customers proud
An individual or business does not have to buy from you before you categorize them as a customer, in my opinion you should see every single person in your target audience as a customer.
By so doing you will have a mindset that will push you to treat every single person as someone who brings you revenue regardless of whether they have or not.
The effect of this on your business cannot be overstated, if you can manage to endear yourself to people even when they haven't bought from you it won't be hard for them to decide to buy from you.
Establishing trust with people can help to form a long lasting relationship, in other words, do not chase the money at first create a friendship between your brand and the potential customer by meeting their needs and providing solutions.
Even if they don't buy from you in the worst case scenario, they will refer you someday.
I believe these two points can help you reach some rapid customer acquisiton goals if you apply them. WIN.
